Each band applies only to the volume within it. The effective rate declines as processed volume rises.

Compliance scanning and monitoring are included in the platform fee.

The merchant pays their payment processor's own fees directly.

YOUR TOTAL COST, INCLUDING STRIPE

You pay two things: Stripe's standard fee for each card payment, and Aperture's platform fee. Stripe's published standard price is 2.9% + 30¢ per successful domestic card payment (stripe.com/pricing, checked October 2026).

Example: a store processes $10,000 in a month, across 100 orders of $100.

  • Stripe: 2.9% of $10,000 is $290, plus 30¢ on 100 orders is $30. Stripe total: $320.
  • Aperture: 3.25% of $10,000 is $325.
  • Total: $645, about 6.45% of sales.

Your Stripe fees can differ (international cards, for example). Stripe bills them directly. They are not paid to Aperture.

THE AGREEMENT, IN PLAIN WORDS

  • The scan is free. You pay nothing until you process payments.
  • The Merchant Agreement runs 12 months, then month to month. No cancellation fee.
  • If you refund a customer, Aperture returns its fee on that payment. Same if you lose a dispute.
  • For 12 months after the agreement ends, it limits what you can do with the payment account opened through our platform and with our findings. Section 9 of the Merchant Agreement explains exactly what that means.
